Capacity Monitoring: Core usage monitoring with and without idle cycles
You can now gain more accurate insights into workload utilization by distinguishing between processor time used for productive work and idle processing.
This enhancement enables you to view, analyze, and compare system and partition core usage both with and without idle cycles. All graphs, tables, thresholds, and exported data dynamically adjust based on the option selected on the Capacity Monitoring Settings page.

Capacity Monitoring: Partition-level power usage monitoring
You can now monitor power consumption metrics for individual partitions, providing deeper insight into energy usage across your environment.
Metrics such as current, average, minimum, and maximum power usage are available in both graphical and tabular formats. To access this information, select Power Usage from the drop-down list on the Partitions tab in the Capacity Monitoring application.

The exported CSV files now also contain tags.
Patch Planning: Customized views by resource type
The Patch Planning tab has been redesigned to improve usability and data relevance.
It now includes sub-tabs for different resource types—HMCs, Managed Systems, Partitions and Virtual I/O Servers, and Adapters—enabling each view to display only the columns relevant to that resource.

Enterprise Pools 2.0: Pool type visibility on Settings page
The Settings page of the Enterprise Pools 2.0 application now displays the pool type, indicating whether the pool type is prepaid or monthly billing.

Performance data retention and purging policy updates
The performance data retention policy has been updated to improve storage efficiency and system performance.
Key updates include:
- A maximum retention period of three years for daily, weekly, and monthly performance data across pools, systems, and partitions
- Automated purging of data older than the retention limit

Notifications panel: Support for multiple recipients
The Notifications panel now supports sending alerts to multiple recipients simultaneously.
You can configure notifications to be sent to multiple email addresses and phone numbers, removing the previous limitation of a single recipient per notification.

Manual partition tagging and tag removal required for PowerHA LPP changes in HMC 1120
An issue in the Cloud Connector component of HMC 1120 prevents Licensed Program Product (LPP) update information from being sent to Logstash or the CMC application.
LPP metering is not affected. However, when the PowerHA LPP is installed or removed on AIX or IBM i partitions, automatic tagging and removal of tags does not occur, and you must manually tag or remove tags from the affected partitions as needed.
This issue is planned to be resolved in the HMC 1120.1 PTF release. If you plan to upgrade and one or more AIX or IBM i partitions have the PowerHA LPP installed, manually perform any required tagging or tag-removal actions.
