Important: If your HMC is running the Cloud Connector service with a proxy, after updating your HMC to V11 R1 M1111 you should immediately install the ifix MF71746 or MF71747.
- Details about managed system resource groups are now available in the Capacity Monitoring and Inventory applications.
- To see performance information for resource groups in the Capacity Monitoring app, click Capacity Monitoring > Performance > Resource Groups. The table displays all the resource groups for each system. To learn more about the details shown in the table, see Capacity Monitoring : Performance of all resource groups.
- To see information for resource groups fin the Inventory app, click Inventory > Full Inventory > Managed Systems and HMCs, then click the information icon (
) corresponding to the managed system whose resource groups you want to see. To learn more about the details shown in the Resource Groups tab on the Advanced Information pop-up, see Inventory: Hardware information for a selected managed system.
- To see the resource group to which a partition belongs, click Capacity Monitoring > Performance > Partitions, and then click the
icon next to the System column.
- You can see resource group information in CMC only for Power11 systems that are managed by HMC V11 R1 M1111 and later. Only partitions under the resource groups are displayed; the shared processor pools are not displayed. To see details of the shared processor pools, click the Shared Processor Pools tab.
- To see performance information for resource groups in the Capacity Monitoring app, click Capacity Monitoring > Performance > Resource Groups. The table displays all the resource groups for each system. To learn more about the details shown in the table, see Capacity Monitoring : Performance of all resource groups.
- Single Root IO Virtualization (SR-IOV) adapters are now visible in the Patch Planning app. To see the list of these adapters, click Patch Planning > Inventory and then select ADAPTER from the filter. The SR-IOV adapters and their details are listed in the table, and the Name column shows their name and location code. This information is shown only for HMC V11 R1 M1111HMC and later.
- Additional parameters are now included in the HMC
diagcloudconncommand to test and display detailed diagnostic output of specific CMC endpoints. For example, to check the details of your CMC portal, type the following command:# diagcloudconn --verify portal.
With these new parameters, you can see the detailed diagnostic output even if an endpoint is not reachable. For information about how to use these new parameters, see the diagcloudconn man page on HMC.
These new parameters are included in thediagcloudconncommand for HMC V11 R1 M1111 and later.
