The Adapters tab lists the Adapters and ports for all your managed systems. To see information about the current levels of the adapter, physical location code, the associated ports, and available updates, click the icon next to the managed system name. Use this tab to search, filter, view details, and group the Adapters for planning.
You can filter and search the list, open an Adapter detail page, add tags, and add them to a plan for sharing or tracking.
- You can set multiple filters by using the Status filter.
The End of Support, Updates Available, and Upgrade Available filters are applied by default.- To see details of all Adapters in your environment, select All.
The Adapters are grouped and listed under the managed system they belong to. - To see Adapters for which updates are available, select Updates Available. To download and install an update from IBM Fix Central, click the version number in the Latest Update column.
- To see Adapters, for which information is unavailable with or unsupported by FLRT, select Not Found.
- To see Adapters that are running at recommended versions, select Up-to-Date.
- To see details of all Adapters in your environment, select All.
- To see details of specific Adapters, select from the Adapters filter.
- To see Adapter of a specific managed system, select from the Managed Systems filter.
Note: Information about the latest release, update, upgrade, and recommendations for resources such as partitions, HMCs, and firmware depends on the IBM Fix Level Recommendation Tool (FLRT).
If the current level of Adapters is no longer supported, a red flag is shown next to the current level.
You can perform the following actions on this tab:
- Open the detail page and view additional details by clicking the Adapter name.
- Group the Adapters so that they can be viewed or shared together by clicking Add to Plan.
- Select the check box corresponding to the Adapter, and then click Add to Plan. Select an existing plan or create a new plan. The Adapter and its ports get added to the plan.
- An icon is displayed next to the Adapter name in the Plan column, indicating that the resource is added to a Plan.
