To view Events, click the navigation menu icon in the portal header, and then click the Settings icon
. On the Settings page, click Users and Security > Events.
The Events tab enables you to track the login activity of your CMC portal. Use this page to see the following login details:
- The status of the login attempt – successful or failed.
- The ID of the user and the time at which the user tried to log in.
- A message with a description of the login attempt.
If a user was unable to complete authentication within 5 minutes, the message will indicate that the login attempt timed out and the user will be displayed as Unknown with the user’s IP address.
You can filter the login activity of your CMC portal by using the following filters:
- Status – Failure or success of the login.
- User – The users who tried to log in.
- Date range – The login activity for 7 consecutive days. The default value for this date range is the last 7 days. You can select a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 7 consecutive days.
To configure your CMC portal to send alerts when several failed attempts reach a threshold value, click View/Edit Alerts Configuration.
Export CSV
To export the events to a file in CSV format, click Export CSV.
