You can view metered capacity usage for the pool.
You can view the metered capacity usage by resource type and by month in both minutes and credits. You can select the quarter for which you want to view the metered capacity usage in the Select Statement Cycle drop-down menu.
Starting with CMC v1.20.0, IBM i software capacity usage is metered by IBM i software tier: P10, P20, or P30 and the tiers are shown on the Usage Statement page. The IBM i software capacity usage that was metered prior to the deployment of CMC v1.20.0 is displayed with the tier that is the highest IBM i software tier of any server currently in the pool.
For pools using prepaid credits, you can view the real-time remaining credit balance and budget for the current month in the upper right corner of the page. You can configure remaining credit balance and budget notifications on the Settings page for the pool. You always receive notifications when your remaining credit balance reaches 0 and monthly budget limit is reached. If your remaining credit balance stays at or below 0 for 30 consecutive days, processor throttling starts on all the systems in the pool that are currently using more than their purchased base capacity.
For pools with monthly billing, you can view the real-time Month-To-Date Credits Used and budget for the current month in the upper right corner of the page. You can configure budget notifications on the Settings page for the pool. You always receive notifications when the budget is set to a non-zero positive value and it is reached.
Click Purchase Credits to open the Entitled Systems Support (ESS) website in a new browser tab. You can purchase more credits for the pool in the ESS website (where available). If you purchase more credits for the pool, click Refresh Capacity to update the credits in the Enterprise Pools 2.0 app. The Purchase Credits button is not shown for pools with monthly billing.
Expand View Credit Rates to display the credit rates for the metered resources. The credit rates are expressed as the number of minutes per credit for each of the metered resource types. You can view the current, past, and future credit rates. You receive notifications when new credit rates become available, and when new credit rates go into effect.
Expand View Credit History to display the expense history and purchase history for the pool. The expense history for the current quarter and the three most recent quarters is displayed. The purchase history for the four most recent credit purchases is displayed.
Click Export CSV to export the metered capacity usage for the selected quarter to a file in CSV format.
Use the Settings page to enable usage statement emails. The usage statement email is sent on the first day of every month. The email contains details of the previous month's usage. The email is sent to the email addresses that you specify on the Settings page.
