Limitations and known issues in CMC

Sometimes, CMC might not function optimally due to the limitations of third-party libraries used by CMC or due to the timeline and  scope of a feature in CMC.

Unavailability of openssl output while using diagcloudconn

By configuring some additional parameters, diagcloudconn can provide you the output of the curl or openssl commands for the outbound connections. However, when you use a proxy with authentication, the output of the openssl command is not available. This issue occurs due to the limitation of the openssl version in HMC.

Failed validation of the Logstash connection 

The Logstash connection validation fails when you use proxy. This issue occurs due to a limitation in the Filebeat library that transfers data from HMC to CMC. After the issue in the Filebeat library is fixed, the feature will be available in diagcloudconn.
