The following updates have been made in this release:
- New endpoints for Inventory added to the CMC API
You can now retrieve inventory data by using the following APIs: - Data masking for attributes that contain sensitive information
You can now mask the values of the attributes that contain sensitive information by enabling Attribute Masking. For example, the name of a system gets masked with its MTMS value, and the name of a partition gets masked with the combination of its system MTMS and its partition ID.
To enable Attribute Masking, click Settings > Cloud Connector > Cloud Connector Management, scroll down to the end of the page, then set Attribute Masking to On.
The attribute values are masked on all the CMC pages and apps, and in the CMC APIs. For more information about this feature, and the list of attributes whose values can be masked, see CMC Attribute Masking.
- New circle graphs on the EP 2.0 Inventory page
New circle graphs have been added to the EP 2.0 Inventory page to show the current usage of the hardware core and memory base resources in the pool.
- New pool bar graph option on the EP 2.0 Core Usage page
The Graph Data Type list now contains a new option called Total Usage (Average Cores). This option enables you to view the total core usage for the pool in average core usage. This graph type is now the default on the Core Usage page.
- New pool bar graph option on the EP 2.0 Memory Usage page
The Graph Data Type list now contains a new option called Total Usage (Average TB). This option enables you to view the total memory usage for the pool in average TB usage. This graph type is now the default on the Memory Usage page.
- New CMC support email address
For email notifications on the notification panel, the sender identity has changed from "cmcntfy@us.ibm.com" to "cmcntfy@ibm.com". You might need to make changes in your environment if you have made accommodations for the previous sender identity.
